Everyone at Alstone welcomed my daughter stright away earlier in the year when She was starting out on her horse riding adventure

With every lesson she gained so much confidence and knowledge and with the extras offered over the school half term terms have added to all that

Such a lovely close and friendly environment to come into, so much so I've even started with them myself and reliving my childhood love with horses!!

I have been taking adult riding lessons for nearly two years with Alstones. I was a complete beginner and now I can do a nice canter (usually only on my good side but we're working on it 😉). The staff are very friendly and have a many years of experience with horses, riding and riders that they are happy to help and offer tips and advice or how to improve or where to purchase kit. Even when we occasionally get things wrong in a lesson we are given corrections to make for next time without feeling judged or belittled. Having had lessons at other venues I will always recommend Alstone first, last and always.

My daughter has been riding with you since a very young age and she has loved it. It has always been the highlight of her week. The staff are very friendly and have been so supportive even when the kids are having a bad day or a little scared to try something new, talking to the staff and riding horses helps to make them happy again. My girl is so happy that she now gets to learn how to jump as well as ride. She's taken part in hacks and pony days. Some of her highlights have been getting to muck out the stables, poo picking the fields with the yard hands, and pony grooming days.

Highly recommend them to all kids wanting to learn to ride.

I have had my horse on livery at Alstone court riding centre for 8 fun years.

The yard is run by Sally and Olivia March with their fantastic Team.

My horse wants for nothing and his every need is catered for , the facilities are just great and boasts an outdoor and indoor school , with 200 odd acres to hack around.

Rupert and I are regularly out competing with British dressage, Eventing and showjumping. The amount of lovely comments we get on how well Rupert looks and how well he’s performing is down to this fantastic Team who ensure he is looked after to the highest standard.

The yard is a friendly place to be, it’s quiet , calm and allows you to get on with your training programme. Whether that’s on your own or with others. Everyone is catered for and supported in their Equine journey.

My daughter wanted to ride horses when she was 4 years old, I learnt to ride at alstone and have many happy memories there so it was the obvious choice.

She was a very nervous rider to begin with and I can not fault any of the staff there, they support my daughter through her ups amd downs every time.

She is now 11 with her own pony and we still have weekly lessons, she even started jumping with liv last year.

Without them we wouldn't be where we are today and are always willing to give advice or lend a friendly ear when things go wrong.

I even had a few refresher lessons when I had a confidence dip.

Highly recommend Alstone, they do a lovely range of activities in the holidays with pony days which helped my daughter gain knowledge and confidence in the day to day things involved in having a pony.

Liv at Alstone has helped me massively over the last few months with my jumping. Before I met Liv, I couldn’t jump whatsoever, and now a few months later, I am easily cruising over 90cm jumps at shows!
